Q - What cabinetry lines do you carry?

A - See our Product Lines link at the top of the page.

Q - Can you give me a ballpark figure?

A - No. Some “Home Centers” offer linear foot pricing, based upon generic specifications. Our designers create custom layouts, based on your requirements. Deciding on factors like cabinet line, wood species, door style, special finishes, and accessories will determine the cost of your kitchen.

Q - What are the different styles of cabinets?

A - There are framed and frameless cabinets. Framed cabinets have a choice of standard, full-overlay, or inset doors. Frameless come with overlay doors.

Q - Do you install?

A - We use subcontracted installers with a proven track record of excellent work.

Q - Do you sell appliances?

A - No, our focus is cabinetry and design. We can recommend several appliance dealers, such as Friedman’s Appliances ( http://friedmansappliances.com/ ).

Q - How well do you work with other installers or appliance dealers?

A - We have good working relationships with many contractors, installers, and appliance dealers. Our designers are always willing to review the requirements of the design.

Q - How long will it take for my cabinets to arrive, once ordered?

A - It will depend on the cabinet line; 3 to 8 weeks are the ends of the spectrum.

Q - Do you have any cabinets in stock?

A - Yes. We stock a white cabinet with thermofoil doors, and a medium brown oak in our Cardell line. We also stock a natural oak cabinet in our Kitchen Kompact line.

Q - Do you sell only doors, or offer refinishing to existing cabinets?

A - No.

Can I just come in, or do I need an appointment?

A - We have a beautiful showroom so please come in, look around, and ask questions. An appointment is recommended for the planning phase, as first consultations can last an hour, or longer.

Q - Can you design and price my kitchen while I wait?

A - No, sorry. The design process is one that takes time. Our designers aim to create a space that looks and feels right, for you. Accomplishing this cannot be done in “30 minutes or less”.

Q - Can you come out and measure?

A - To begin the design process, we ask customers to bring in a rough sketch with measurements, a floor plan with dimensions, or blueprints. After reviewing your needs and wants, we will come up with a design and price the job in one of our many cabinet lines. After agreeing on the final design and price, an appointment will be made to confirm measurements, plumbing and electrical.

Q - What should I bring to the first appointment?

A - • A general floor plan of your space; showing ceiling height, walls, doors, windows, and plumbing.
• Magazine clippings or photos of kitchen and baths ideas.
• A list of appliances you will be using; model numbers are helpful but not required.

What is included with my quote?

The quote will outline the project and list cabinet brand(s), style, color, special features, and pricing details. Detailed scaled floor plans, and CAD rendering perspective drawings are also provided to illustrate the design. Drawings will not be released without a 50% deposit on the kitchen or $1,500 paid design fee. The payment of the design fee will be applied towards the cost of the kitchen upon confirmation of order; it is otherwise non-refundable.

Q - How long have you been in business?

A - We opened our doors for business in 1966.
